Music students shine in end-of-year performances


The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will showcase several talented students in upcoming recitals.

UW-Superior students planning a recital need to pass a hearing three weeks prior. In this performance, the student plays their entire program in front of three music faculty.

Bachelor of Music Education majors are required to perform one half recital (30 minutes) during their senior year.

Bachelor of Music Performance majors are required to perform two recitals. A half recital (30 minutes) during their junior year, and a full recital (60 minutes) during their senior year.

Fechtelkotter and Ramsey will be performing a variety works for a joint recital. Fechtelkotter’s performance fulfills the junior recital requirement for the Bachelor of Music Performance degree.

Ramsey’s performance fulfills the senior recital requirement for the Bachelor of Music Education Degree.

Aidan Jones’ performance fulfills the senior recital requirement for the Bachelor of Arts in Music degree. Emma Jones’ performance fulfills the junior recital requirement for the Bachelor of Music Performance degree.
