Transportation and Logistics Management students, Lynne Bell and Puja Bista were awarded scholarships to attend the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) 28th Intermodal Expo in Fort Lauderdale, FL from November 14-16, 2010.  The largest gathering of Multi-Modal Transportation Executives in North America will be gathering to attend the expo. 

For the past three years the Transportation and Logistics Research Center has supported one or two students to attend this event.  This years winners are Lynne Bell and Puja Bista.  In order to be eligible to win the scholarship the students needed to meet gpa requirements, be in good academic standing, and write a one page essay.  As scholarship winners the students will be meeting with transportations professionals from all over the world, attending the Annual Meeting along with Dr. Richard Stewart and will provide a write up about their experience for publication.

The scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet with transportation and logistics professionals, learn about what is new and exciting in an ever changing field and to network with professionals in all areas of transportation and logistics.
