Coaching Minor

The Coaching minor reflects the growing interest in sports and recreational activities, which has increased the demand for trained coaches.  Teacher Education students can enhance their career opportunities by adding a minor in coaching. A key part of UW-Superior's coaching minor is developing a philosophy to guide coaching decisions, along with identifying and treating sports and related injuries. This minor meets Wisconsin and Minnesota coaching certification requirements.
