Two Years Online | Two Summers on Campus 

UW-Superior's Teacher Education Department offers high-quality Master of Science in Education Degree programs in reading, instruction and special education. Our programs are continually updated to meet the latest professional standards and the requirements of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Programs include practicum courses or a research project as capstone experiences.

You can complete the MSE-Reading and MSE-Instruction programs with two years of online study and two summers of study on campus:

  • Complete online courses at home, complete summer courses on UW-Superior's beautiful campus near Lake Superior
  • Non-Wisconsin residents welcome.
  • Students can take individual courses for career development without being enrolled in the Master's program. Up to 10 credits can be taken before enrolling in the Master's program.
  • Summer housing available on campus.
