Freshmen applicants who will/have graduated in the top ¼ of their high school class and have an ACT of at least 21 are invited to apply for a Foundation scholarship.  Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, among this group.  Award recipients usually have a strong high school curriculum and present an ACT score and/or class rank that is above these minimums. 

Freshmen Foundation Scholarships - numerous freshmen year- awards ranging from $400 to $6500.  Many are awarded to students on the basis of their intended major or other criteria.

Apply for admission to UW-Superior before February 1. Your application for admissions, is also your scholarship application. You will be sent an email if you qualify for the next steps in the process, which includes submitting a letter of recommendation.

All scholarship materials must be received by February 15. Students will be notified about scholarship decisions starting March 15.

Scholarship recipients must enroll as full-time students (12 or more credits per semester).

Scholarship recipients will receive awards in two installments, each at the start of each semester.
