• Freshmen applicants who will/have graduated in the top ¼ of their high school class, a GPA of 3.25 and have an ACT of at least 21 are invited to apply for a Foundation scholarship. 
• Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, among this group. Award recipients usually have a strong high school curriculum and present an Act score and/or class rank that is above these minimums.

Freshmen Foundation Scholarships - numerous freshmen year- awards ranging from $400 to $6500. Many are awarded to students on the basis of their intended major or other criteria.

• Apply for admission to UW-Superior before February 1.
• Your application for admissions, is also your scholarship application.
• You will be sent an email if you qualify for the next steps in the process, which includes submitting a
  letter of recommendation.

All scholarship materials must be received by February 15. Students will be
notified about scholarship decisions starting March 15.

Scholarship recipients must enroll as full-time students (12 or more credits per semester).

Scholarship recipients will receive awards in two installments, each at the start of each semester.
