What was your dream career choice when you were younger?

When I was young, I always wanted to be an educator.I would practice by teaching my younger sister things at home, and by playing "school."I always enjoyed my classes and my teachers.My teachers were definitely one of the reasons I chose this career.

Why did you choose UW-Superior?

I chose UW-Superior because of the location.Once I came up here to tour it, I fell in love with the private school feel of things with the small class sizes and friendly atmosphere, with the public school price!! That was a huge reason for me wanting to be here.

What is your favorite thing about UWS?

I really love most things at UWS.As I stated above, I love the small classes where I can get to know my professors, along with the friendly atmosphere on campus.I also loved how easy it is to get involved on campus.Between my four jobs and all the groups I am involved with, I feel like I know pretty much everyone around campus!!

How are the classes at UWS?

The classes are small, personal, and there are a lot of discussions between the professors and students, rather than lecture.The professors are wonderful!

Where's the best place to study on campus?

I prefer to study in the library.It is cozy and quiet.My favorite thing to do is curl up by one of the fireplaces in the winter and read.It is so relaxing.I also like to read outside the library in the sitting area when the weather is nice.

What do you enjoy doing the most on campus?

I enjoy attending the many campus events.In my job with the Department of Student Involvement I am able to plan large scale events for the students and community, such as Fall-A-Palooza, Winterfest, and College Rocks Week.These events are so much fun to attend!

When you are not in class, where would we most likely find you?

At work!!

Favorite college class and why?

English 101 my freshman year!The professor was amazing, and I love writing the types of essays we wrote that semester!It was a blast!I also absolutely love my education classes though, especially the reading ones.
