Alumnus Tim Benson earns national teaching honor

'96 graduate and former instructor Tim Benson honored with award.

Tim Benson, Class of '96, was named the 2010 Minnesota Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Benson graduated from UW-Superior with a degree in English in 1996. He later returned to campus to teach Spanish. Benson now teaches at Lake Superior College in Duluth.
