Job Fairs offer students the chance to network with employers, sign up for interviews, and see what the current job market is like.

Head of the Lakes Job Fair

The Head of the Lakes Job Fair is offered every fall and spring semester. It is offered in partnership between the University of Wisconsin-Superior, The College of St. Scholastica, and the University of Minnesota, Duluth. The fall Job Fair is held on the University of Minnesota, Duluth campus and the spring Job Fair is held at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. To learn more about the upcoming Job Fair, visit our events page.

If you are serious about your career or just starting out, there are plenty of reasons to attend a job fair:

Freshmen and Sophomores:

7 Tips for Attending a Job Fair

  1. Research attending employers before hand
  2. Prepare a few questions for each recruiter
  3. Bring a few copies of your polished and error free resume
  4. Smile and give a confident handshake
  5. Have a 30-second pitch prepared that highlights you
  6. Carry a padfolio or small briefcase
  7. Stick to the employers you're interested in
