Starting October 18, the Writing Center will offer online consultations on Thursdays from 5 to 10 pm! With this addition, the Writing Center's hours are now as follows:
Hours for both in-person and online consultations:
9-5 Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
9-9 Wednesdays
9-4 Fridays
Hours for online consultations only:

Students can visit us in the Writing Center (SWEN 1030) for in-person consultations, and at the Writing Center for online consultations. Appointments for all consultations are made at the same web address. (Walk-ins are also welcome for in-person consultations, but to ensure a consultant will be available, make an appointment!)
Writing Center services are available free of charge to any and all UW-Superior students. Our peer consultants work with both undergraduates and graduate students, with both campus and distance learning students, with students from any and all disciplines.
Questions? Contact Deborah Schlacks at dschlack@uwsuper.edu.
Looking for a quick link to the undergraduate catalog, the course rotation, or the spring schedule? The Distance Learning Center now has easy to access links to these resources on the left side of our departmental homepage.
Ever thought about studying in another country to gain credits towards graduation? Open a window to the world that broadens your international and intercultural awareness. Bring fresh perspective to career choices, international understanding and human relationships. Return home as a person who is able to see the world through new lenses!
If the right program for you is not available through our UW-Superior campus, the folks at the Study Away Program will work with you to identify programs through our sister institutions within the University of Wisconsin System. In nearly all cases, your financial aid will transfer. Many students are eligible for additional funding for study abroad! Visit the Study Away website to schedule an appointment, read about student experiences with study away, for information about scholarships, and help with the applications!
