Earn Your University of Wisconsin Bachelor's Degree Online

The UW-Superior Distance Learning Center was created to help students complete degrees without leaving home, family, or job.  With more than thirty years of experience, we have helped hundreds of learners like you reach professional and personal goals.

A Record of Student Success

Our list of graduates includes the CEO of a major corporation, a federal judge, and a prominent state governor.  Others are small business owners, airline pilots, teachers, principals, and local government staff.  Our flexible programs have met the needs of people with many different goals, and one common desire: to earn a University of Wisconsin degree.

Versatile Degree Programs

Many students find our Individually Designed Major, with the flexibility of a study program designed around professional and personal interests, an excellent fit for their goals.  The Communicating Arts Major can lead to employment in a number of professional fields, from business to the nonprofit sector to broadcasting to e-commerce.  The Elementary Education Major leads to teacher certification, and also provides a broad foundation for other careers in the teaching and learning professions.

Quality Student Support

The staff of the Distance Learning Center are dedicated to your success.  Through advising and access to campus services, we make sure you have what you need to pursue your goals.  University staff in Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Support Services, Business Services, and other key offices share our 30 year history of serving distance learners.  The University Library, Bookstore, and Technology Services staffs provide services designed to bring the university to you.  Many of the services you'll need are available to you any time online through the E-Hive, the university's interactive student service center.

Learning with Interaction

Most of your courses will be completed through UW-Superior's online learning environment, Learn@UW-Superior.  In many courses, students work together to share ideas or do team or group work using interactive tools.  Your professors will communicate with you using e-mail, phone, and text.
