Biology and Earth Sciences Scholarships
Phil J. Arlausky Scholarship. For an outstanding student in anatomy and physiology who is planning a career in a health field.
Arrowhead Fly Fishers Conservation Scholarship. For a junior or senior student who has been accepted into a Biology major with demonstrated focus on ecology, aquatic biology, or fishery science, and has a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Edward L. Bolender Memorial Scholarship. For new or continuing students of high academic potential and performance majoring in the natural sciences and/or health professions.
Donald and Ruthanna Davidson Botany Research Scholarship. For a student majoring in biology with an interest in botany. The student must be at least in their junior year and have a minimum GPA of 2.75. The student is to be involved in botany research with a focus in floristics, plant ecology or plant geography as part of their undergraduate training.
Mabelle Gates Scholarship. For students in science, primarily in bird or nature study.
John Hennessy Scholarship. For students majoring in mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, or foreign language. Students must have a minimum score of 21 on the ACT or 1,000 on the SAT.
Lake Superior Research Institute Scholarship. For students majoring in program areas relating to environmental studies.
Emma Oexemann Scholarship. For students majoring in biology, preferably incoming freshmen in the top 15th percentile of their graduation class. Continuing students must have at least a 3.0 grade point average for the year immediately preceding the award.
Dr. Ann M. Rock Biology Scholarship. For a female student majoring in biology with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a focus on medicine or health related studies.
Bibiana Roubal Memorial Scholarship. For students who have a comprehensive chemistry major or chemistry major along with a major or minor in biology or math. Otherwise, to students pursuing medicine, dentistry, nursing or other hospital technical occupations.
