World Languages, Literature, and Cultures Scholarships

(Foreign Languages)

John Hennessy Scholarship. For students majoring in mathematics, chemistry, biology, physics, or foreign language. Students must have a minimum score of 21 on the ACT or 1,000 on the SAT.

Luise Roth Mengel Scholarship. For a student of academic merit with a minor in German. The student should be pursuing a bachelor's degree and must have completed nine credits in a foreign language. Preference should be given in the following order: 1) A female student; 2) A student from northern Wisconsin; 3) A student majoring in another foreign language.

Continuing students - Submit completed application to the World Languages, Literature, and Cultures department chair or your advisor. Please be sure to check whether the scholarship requires more information than is asked for on the application.
