Writing, Reading, and Library Science Scholarships

Ed and Amy Greve Library Science Scholarships. Two scholarships of $1,500 each are awarded annually to entering students who minor in library science, or to students already enrolled at UW-Superior who have declared a library science minor. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The awards are renewable annually upon application and approval.

Two awards of $500 each are awarded annually to students enrolled at UW-Superior who have completed their baccalaureate degree with teaching certificate, and are seeking to enhance their credentials by working toward Library Media certification in either Wisconsin or Minnesota. Candidates must have completed one course in the UW-Superior Library Science program and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Four scholarships of $400 each are awarded to declared library science minors or to students working toward Library Media certification for professional development.

Hester Kyllo Scholarship. Annual scholarship awarded to a student pursuing a library science minor or library science certification.

Continuing students - Submit completed application to the Writing and Library Science department chair or your advisor. Please be sure to check whether the scholarship requires more information than is asked for on the application.
