UW-Superior is undergoing a self-study and visit from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association in pursuit of continued accreditation. Accreditation is important to UW-Superior because it serves as an indicator of quality for the public and our peers.  It allows the university to disperse financial aid and promotes self-examination and continuous improvement. 

Accreditation is about being who we say we are and doing what we say we do in our mission.
