JOB DUTIES: | Provide administrative, financial management, marketing and technical support to the Office of Admissions and University Relations office and staff.This position reports 50% of the time to the Director of Admissions and 50% to the Director of Marketing and Communications.The individual will support a wide variety of activities and provide a welcoming environment for office visitors. This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced problem solving ability, strong customer service, attention to detail, independent decision-making, and a desire to be challenged and learn new tasks. It requires occasional early morning, evening and weekend hours. |
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: | Ability to function in a leadership role in an office environment. Proven high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, Specific computer skills:Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher) Acrobat, and WISDM. Ability to use CommonSpot webpage development and editing software. Ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality and discretion. Excellent problem solving skills. Confident financial management skills, Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team-focused environment. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Knowledge of current office procedures and practices, Ability to multi-task and work independently, Self-motivated, Effective time management skills. Presence to publicly represent the University, thorough knowledge of UW-Superior's policies and procedures. |

SALARY: | This is a non-represented position in pay range 02-11.The beginning pay rate for this position is $15.106 per hour. |
WORK SCHEDULE: | Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hrs per week) |
