Q: Why did you choose to come to UW-Superior?

A: The Science Department had a very appealing Coral Reef Research program that I was part of my sophomore year, and it was incredible! Plus, the tuition price was fair and the university offers a scholarship for international students.

Q: What have you liked best about your experience at UW-Superior?

A: Being really involved in campus in things like student organizations, event planning, and all the involvement that comes with my on-campus jobs. These experiences have made me grow as a person, helped me have lots of fun, and look good on my resume!

Q: Tell us about your experience with the Office of International Programs (OIP).   

A: The great people at the OIP have been a wonderful asset during my time at UW-Superior. The amazing willingness to help and the incredibly nice one-on-one treatment I received from Mark when I first showed interest in UW-Superior was definitely a big factor that made me choose UW-Superior.

Q: What has surprised you most about your experience at UW-Superior?

A: How many friends I have made while I have been here.

Q: What advice would you give to an international student who is considering attending UW-Superior?

A: Always remember why you chose to study abroad! Get involved, step outside of your comfort zone, embrace the differences, and be open minded. Fully enjoy the rich cultural and academic experience!
