Registrar's Office -- Transcript Information

The Registrar's Office furnishes transcripts or transcript information to potential employers, school officials, governmental agencies, or to students but ONLY with a transcript request form or a letter containing the student's signature.

You can obtain a copy of your academic transcript by one of the following methods:

1) Visit the Registrar's Office in Main 139 and complete a Transcript Request Form.

2) Complete and print the Transcript Form . (You may need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader). Send your completed form along with a $8 transcript fee to the Registrar's Office at the address listed below.

3) Send us a letter requesting a copy of your transcript and include the following information:

a. Name (If you had a different name while enrolled, please include that name.)
b. Social Security Number or Student Identification Number
c. Approximate dates of attendance.
d. Graduate or undergraduate transcript being requested. (Fee is $8 for the set)
e. Name and address of person or organization where the transcript should be sent.
f. Your signature at the bottom of the letter.
g. Check made out to UW-Superior for $8 for each transcript. Walk-in or rush requests may receive an immediate transcript but will pay a $12 fee.

Please note:
--
Telephone and e-mail requests for transcripts cannot be honored for privacy reasons.
--Transcripts will not be issued if you owe money to the university (including parking fines).

Transcript requests are normally processed within 24 hours except during the last and the first week of each term. Graduating students will receive an official transcript with all grades and the degree granted listed, along with their diploma, four to six weeks after the end of their final term.
