Are you looking for time to do a research design, a re-write of your curriculum next summer? 

You may be able to co-inside these and other activities with grant writing and get re-assigned to do it.  Here's what you need: 

• A strong research or writing proposal supported by your department chair and Provost
  
• A commitment to bring your ideas to a collaborative grant writing process with UW Superior's Grant and Research Office
  
• An approved Reassignment Time Grant.   
  

The Reassignment Time Grant will provide up to $3,500 to defray the cost of reassignment from teaching a course or for summer salary support, as long the grant recipient devotes the time for grant development.

Assistance finding extramural funding opportunities must be for $50,000 or more. Applications will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit the WiSys website for more information.
