LSRI and AST present 2010 Symposium

With UW-Superior as the host site, The Lake Superior Research Insitute (LSRI) and American Science & Technology (AST),
are partnering together to present 2010 Bio-Fuel and Energy Independence Symposium.The inaugural symposium was held at
UW-Superior September 3-2009.

This year's symposium will bring together many stakeholders (researchers, engineers, educators, and industrial professionals),
and will focus on individuals and companies that are key to the creation of renewable energy.

LSRI, formerly the Center for Lake Superior Environmental Studies, was created in 1967 and formally recognized
by the UW Board of Regents in 1969. Its mission includes environmental research, environmental education, and
public information for the Great Lakes Region.LSRI has worked with American Science & Technology (AST), on variousbio-fuels projects.
