At college getting a degree is important, but why not socialize and have fun while doing it?
If you are like the overwhelming majority of college students, you are looking forward to meeting new people and having fun in the residence halls. At the same time, you are trying to balance a full time credit load, student involvement, work, etc. That is why we encourage you to set aside time in your busy schedule to study solo or even with friends in your residence hall.
During the school year, keep your door open and when you get caught studying, day or night, you will get a Study Buck from your Resident Assistant (RA) or Academic Resource Coordinator (ARC)! Collect these throughout the semester and you can use them to buy items at the front desk, take part in drawings, and even silent auctions. What a wonderful way to benefit from doing what you came here to do!
