The Special Collections unit contains many cataloged and un-cataloged published books. Some of the works are 'special' due to age, rarity, or some other physical factor, while others are primary and secondary support of archives collections.

Cataloged works of the Special Collections may be found in the Voyager Catalog, and will indicate a location of 'vault', 'marine' or 'special collections'. Consult the archivist for inventory lists of uncataloged publications, including maritime serial publications and Corps of Engineers Reports.
