The Pruitt Center for Mindfulness and Well-Being is committed to promoting and enhancing the science and practice of mindfulness and well-being. The Pruitt Center does this by providing mindfulness and well-being resources and expertise through events, classes, and workshops for our greater community and across the UW Superior Campus. It’s their goal to make mindfulness easily accessible so that more people will have the tools they need to better manage stress, relationships, and their lives. To help achieve this goal, The Pruitt Center has a high priority in building community by establishing partnerships and collaborations across campus and the greater community.

Who We Are
The Pruitt Center for Mindfulness and Well-Being would never have been possible were it not for the generous support of our benefactors, Becky and Doug Pruitt. The Pruitts’ dedication and commitment to education and a culture of compassion led to the establishment of the Pruitt Center at UW-Superior. The Pruitt Center was established on August 27, 2018, with the main goal of promoting and enhancing the science and practice of mindfulness & well-being on the UW Superior Campus and in the greater community.
