Students—have you ever wondered what it might be like to work at a radio station? Get involved with our student-run radio shows here on campus. We offer varying levels of commitment—radio can be part of your life without getting in the way of studying or daytime events. Become a Radio DJ, announcer or podcaster on “91 Jazz Street” or “The Dean’s list” and break away from the norm. Opportunities to work as a news or sports reporter or producer for all of the Yellowjacket Athletics games that are broadcast on KUWS are also available. Or, if you’d rather use your other talents, you can assist with one of the many support roles that keep KUWS on the air, such as audio technicians and producers. Students are able to earn academic credit for their work at KUWS through experiential learning.
Volunteer with WPR
