UW-Superior names Chancellor’s Leadership Award recipients


The University of Wisconsin-Superior has named Eliana Lammi and Abby Voss the recipients of the 2023 Chancellor’s Leadership Award. This award is given to members of the graduating class who are committed to personal growth and have made a positive contribution to their peers, campus and community.

Lammi has been successful while at UW-Superior in the community. She completed a keyboard performance degree. The Duluth native has served as an officer of the Music Teachers National Association organization for the past four years and been involved in local and state conferences. Lammi recently performed her senior recital after mentoring several music students while at UW-Superior.

With a major in psychology and a minor in sociology, Voss is an active member of the campus community. A member of the campus psychology honors club, PSI CHI, and the university club, Inkblots, as well as being a TRIO McNair Scholar. A native of Mauston, Wisconsin, Voss completed an equity, diversity and inclusiveness student certificate and the ethical leadership certificate. Currently she serves as an AmeriCorps – Public Health Corps member at St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Department. In the fall, Voss will be continuing her education and pursue a master’s in clinical mental health counseling.

UW-Superior will hold its commencement on Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at Siinto S. Wessman Arena. A live video feed will be available the day of the ceremony. Siinto S. Wessman Arena is located at 2701 Catlin Ave. in Superior.
