UW-Superior to host Traditional Ojibwe Game Night

The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host a Traditional Ojibwe Game Night on Thursday, November 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union Great Room.

Free and open to the community, individuals will be able to learn about and participate in the Dish (Begesi), Moccasin and Lacrosse (Baaga’adowewin) games. There will also be opportunity to learn about the cultural significance and history of the games.

The event is hosted by the Native Nations Students Organization in collaboration with the Indigenous Cultures Resource Center and sponsored by the Department of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at UW-Superior.
