The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will present Faculty Winds and Brass, on Tuesday, January 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Webb Recital Hall as part of its University Recital Series.

The concert will feature Melanie Sever, flute; Madeline Miller, oboe; Deborah Rausch, French horn; and David Leslie, bass trombone.

The musical smorgasbord will present a wide-ranging buffet of musical treats spanning from classical through modern times. The audience can expect to hear both new and old to satisfy multiple musical taste buds.

“The four of us will play chamber music from several musical periods that showcase many different styles,” said Rausch. “Not only will we play as a quartet, but we’ll be splitting off and playing several duets and solos.”

The collaborative artist on piano will be Alex Sandor.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door with cash, check or credit card. Webb Recital Hall is in Holden Fine and Applied Arts, 1805 Catlin Ave.
