Weekend of Welcome (WOW) is a required comprehensive educational and social program designed to prepare incoming first-year students to succeed at UW-Superior. WOW provides students an important opportunity to meet other students, explore campus and prepare to start the year through a variety of sessions, events and traditions. We are so excited to welcome our newest Yellowjackets to campus this fall!
Once you arrive, your Team Leader (an upperclassmen) will help you navigate WoW and getting started on campus. The countdown is on and we can’t wait!

Sunday, January 19th
- *4:00pm – 4:45pm: WoW Check-In at Yellowjacket Union Atrium
- *4:45pm: Class Picture
- *5:00pm-5:45pm: Small Group Meeting #1
- *5:45pm: Dinner (Provided)
- 6:30pm-8:30pm: Evening Activity

Monday, January 20th
- 8:30am-10:00am: Breakfast (On own, meal plan open)
- *9:30am-10:30pm: Educational Sessions
- *10:30am-11:45am: Team Activity
- *12:00pm-1:00pm: Lunch (Provided)
- *1:00pm-4:15pm: Educational Sessions
- 4:15pm: Free Time
- 5:00pm-7:00pm: Dinner (On own, meal plan open)
- 6:00pm-8:00pm: Open Rec Night

Tuesday, January 21st
- 8:30am-9:30am: Breakfast (On own, meal plan open)
- 8:30am-9:30am: DOOR BUSTER – Free UWS Gear!
- *9:30am-12:00pm: Educational Sessions
- *12:00pm- 1:00pm: New Beginnings Lunch with faculty
- *1:00pm-1:50pm: Academic Department Meetings
- *2:00-3:00pm: Closing Ceremony with Alumni Association, Goodies & Prizes
