The University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation will open its application season on Monday, February 3, with more than $1.1 million dollars in scholarships available to current students for the 2025 application period.

The scholarships, which are funded by donations from alumni and friends of the university, can be applied for online.

Some scholarships include specific criteria, and if qualified, students will be directed to a short secondary application based on information from the general application. 

Scholarship recipients will be notified via UW-Superior email in May. Scholarships are awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year and are applied directly to student accounts in equal installments for the fall and spring semesters. Recipients who are international students will receive their scholarship awards in the form of direct deposits. 

The scholarship application cycle for current UW-Superior students closes on March 3.
