This summer, the University of Wisconsin-Superior welcomed back former Yellowjacket men’s hockey team members The Hockey Guys.

The Hockey Guys are a group of friends that met playing college hockey together at UW- Superior. During COVID, they started creating content on TikTok with the extra time that they had outside the rink. That quickly turned into building an audience of one-million followers in the first year and created opportunities with brands like the NHL, Discover and Toyota. Currently, they are operating their business in Minneapolis and hope to continue to grow the game of hockey in the future.

The group returned to the Twin Ports to participate in Grandma’s Marathon. While in the region, The Hockey Guys visited campus to record a series of videos – both for UW-Superior and their own TikTok account.
