Trans Day of Remembrance and Resilience
Trans Day of Remembrance & Resilience is held every year on November 20th to remember and honor the trans and gender expansive community members we’ve lost over the last year to transphobic hate and violence. We also gather as a community to build resilience, collective care, and interconnection.
4-5pm — An outdoor, streetside vigil will be held at the corner of Lake Avenue & Superior Street in downtown Duluth. Bring a sign and come join community as we stand together in solidarity.
5:30-7pm — Join us at the UWS Gender Equity Resource Center. Light refreshments will be provided, we will have a couple of community resource tables, and a panel featuring local community members on building resilience in our community.
