Math Middle/High School Education
We also offer a pathway for students to obtain their teaching licensure through a math middle/high school education major or minor. This program leads to grades 4-12 licensure in the State of Wisconsin and would allow graduates to teach math classes like geometry, algebra 1 & 2, calculus and other math courses. Certification for licensure requires completion of the Instruction minor or required teacher certification coursework and student teaching at the middle or high school level.
While our programs are designed to align with Wisconsin state licensure requirements, many students apply for licenses in other states, such as Michigan and Minnesota. We encourage you to check with your state’s Department of Education to determine if there are additional requirements.
