Scholarships

For students in the Transportation and Logistics Management and/or the Sustainable Management programs who are residents of the United States or Canada and entering their second or subsequent year of study.

For a student of merit who is pursuing a degree in transportation and logistics management. The student will have a minimum GPA of 2.3. The student should be entering their junior year and also have demonstrated financial need.

For students of merit who are pursuing a degree in Business Administration and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

For incoming freshmen students with an interest in exploring intermodal operations and developing intermodal industry leadership skills. The recipient must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must have declared a Transportation and Logistics Management major or a Supply Chain Management major. To be considered, applicants must submit an essay to the Admissions Office at [email protected] detailing what they think the North American intermodal industry contributes to the movement of freight. The essay must have a 12-point font body with 14-point font headers, Times New Roman type, and 1 inch margins. References and citations are highly recommended.

For students with a Transportation and Logistics Management and/or supply chain management concentration major. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.25 GPA, and be enrolled full-time. Preference given to students that are or have been involved in intermodal research and/or intermodal related activities. 

For students with a Transportation and Logistics Management and/or Supply Chain Management concentration major. This scholarship opportunity supports students seeking to completed a graded, for-credit internship with an intermodal company approved by the Transportation and Logistics Management Program. Recipients must have completed at least one of the upper division courses: Supply Chain Management or Transportation Economics, they must have been accepted for an internship with an IANA member or a company engaged in a facet of intermodal operation, the internship must require the recipient to live away from their home location, and they must have financial need.

For students with a Transportation and Logistics Management and/or Supply Chain Management concentration major who have demonstrated outstanding leadership. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.25 GPA, be enrolled full-time, have held a leadership position in a student organization or team for at least one year, and have submitted a letter of recommendation from the faculty/staff representative of that student organization/team.

For students with a Transportation and Logistics Management and/or Supply Chain Management concentration major. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA, be enrolled full-time, be an active member of the Transportation and Logistics student club, and must have been involved in intermodal research and/or an intermodal internship.  

For students enrolled full-time with at least a 2.3 GPA and majoring in Business Administration with Supply Chain Management concentration.

For a full-time student in their junior or senior year majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must show involvement in extra-curricular or other activities which indicate significant leadership skills or outstanding leadership potential. Preference given to a student with financial need.
