Dr. Dale A. Newman Scholarship in honor of Dr. Louise Bader Hawley

For a student proceeding towards dentistry (preference) or medicine, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and financial need. Preference is given to students from northern Wisconsin, with northern Minnesota, and northern Michigan students receiving second preference.

Dr. Darol Kaufmann Scholarship

Makes one award to a student in each of these majors: Biology, Elementary Education, K-12 Education, and Physical Education.

Dr. George K. Davis Biochemistry Scholarship

For an undergraduate junior or senior student majoring in Biochemistry with a minimum GPA of 3.5. If no biochemistry student qualifies for the scholarship, the scholarship can be awarded to a similarly qualified student in Organic Chemistry.

For a student majoring in Chemistry or Medical Technology.

For new or continuing students of high academic potential and performance majoring in the Natural Sciences and/or Health Professions.

Emma Oexemann Scholarship

For students majoring in biology, preferably incoming freshmen in the top 15th percentile of their graduation class. Continuing students must have at least a 3.0 grade point average for the year immediately preceding the award.

Gen. Charles C. McDonald and Col. Karl Moravek Scholarship

For a student from Wisconsin, Minnesota or Michigan who has a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and is enrolled in AFROTC at UW-Superior.

For incoming freshman students from Northwestern Wisconsin or Northeastern Minnesota who intend to major/minor in Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or Physics.

James and Carol Lindberg Scholarship

For a current undergraduate student with a Natural Sciences major. First preference to a student who is a research assistant or part of a work study program within Natural Sciences. If no Natural Sciences student is selected the award can be made to a Nursing student with first preference to a student who is a research assistant or part of a work study program in Nursing.
