Welcome to the Department of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Our department is committed to supporting the success of our faculty, staff and students through engagement on topics of equity, diversity and inclusion. We are committed to inclusiveness and to creating a space for all faculty, staff and students regardless of background, economic status, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, identity, spirituality, or any other form of diversity.

The offices and centers that make up the composition of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion department include: The Indigenous Cultures Resource Center, The Office of Intercultural Student Success, Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center, and the Gender Equity Resource Center.

Mission

The Department of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion promotes and fosters an environment that advances the personal success, cultural engagement, cultural education and campus climate for faculty, staff, students, and the University community at large. 

Vision

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion will be fully integrated into the curricular, co-curricular, and operational aspects of the University community, supporting the success of faculty and staff, and preparing students to navigate a global society.  

EDI Certificate

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program is a free, non-credit certificate option at UW-Superior and is open to all students, staff and faculty.
