Summer Housing: Community Members and Guests

Summer Guest Housing

If you are a parent of a current student, alum visiting UWS, or UW-Superior Staff/Faculty, you can stay in the hall for a night or even a few weeks! All rooms will including twin size bed(s) with bedding and pillow.

If you are doing an internship or have a J1 Visa appointment in the Twin Ports area and need to stay the entire summer, see the Summer Housing page for more information.

How To Reserve Your Room

To reserve your room, please complete the Sh ort-Term Summer Housing Contract and submit it to Residence Life via email, fax or mail.

Or drop off the completed form at the Residence Life office in Yellowjacket Union, room 140.

Payment

After you have received your confirmation from our office, indicating the amount due, please call the Residence Life Office at 715-394-8438 to make a payment over the phone. You can also mail a check in advance of your stay.

Refrigerator Rental

Refrigerators are available on a first-come, first-served basis upon your arrival at the Ross-Hawkes front desk. The cost of a rental is $2/week.

Parking

Permits may be purchased at the Campus Safety Building.

Additional Information

There is a no smoking policy in all residence hall rooms; smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas outdoors. Alcohol is not allowed in any public areas in the residence hall. There is a $40 fee for a lost room key and a $10 fee for a lost front door/bathroom fob.
