Whether you’re looking for a well-appointed conference room for a small meeting or a setting for a major event with hundreds of guests, we have the space for you. We offer rooms for general reservation in our Yellowjacket Union, and we have options to meet every need.
Great Room
The Great Room is an elegant, multi-purpose gathering space that can accommodate a variety of large-scale events as well as smaller groups. It will seat 400 with theater-style seating; 350 at rectangular tables; or up to 240 at round tables for banquets. Movable, acoustical sound partitions allow you to subdivide the space into three smaller sections, which all have a full range of multimedia and audiovisual capabilities.
National Bank of Commerce Union Landing
The Union Landing is a flexible anteroom for Great Room events. It serves as the passageway to the Great Room and meeting rooms, and can function as a general registration area, a casual lounge or a reception space.
Rooms 201 and 202
Rooms 201 and 202 are medium-sized meeting rooms. Each can accommodate 16 to 18 people at conference tables. Each room has dimmable lighting, phone and data lines, a projection system and a retractable screen.
Rooms 203 and 204
Rooms 203 and 204 are large meeting rooms that can accommodate 24 to 40 people at conference tables. Each room has dimmable lighting, phone and data lines, a projection system and a retractable screen.
Additional Spaces Available for Reservation by Campus Groups and Departments
Atrium Stage
The Atrium Stage is a high-energy performance venue for smaller acts such as comedians, coffeehouse musicians and open-mic events. The space features performance-quality sound and light systems, a large screen TV and easy access to dining.
TV/Gaming Lounges
Two smaller TV lounges with gaming capabilities are available for general student use and may be reserved by student organizations for special events.
Contact Tables
Five contact tables are available in the Atrium for use by student organizations and campus departments for solicitation and sale purposes. Solicitation and sales policies apply.
