Overview
Behavioral neuroscience is the study of the biological basis of behavior in humans and animals. Behavioral neuroscientists seek to answer questions like: How has the human brain evolved? What is the nature of consciousness? What is the biological basis of normal or atypical brain function?
What You’ll Learn
The behavioral neuroscience minor at UW-Superior combines courses in biology, psychology, chemistry and health. Paired with a major in psychology, biology, communications, social work or others, this minor will provide you with valuable skills suited for a variety of potential careers, including licensed counselor, laboratory researcher, psychiatric technician and more.
