What does the UW-Superior esports program offer?
UWS esports provides varsity and club-level competitive gaming opportunities for students. Teams compete in national collegiate leagues across titles like League of Legends, Valorant, and Rocket League. Students can join regardless of experience level and develop skills in teamwork, strategy, and communication.

Coach Stocker “iStocks” has spent the last two decades playing competitive sports, and competitive gaming. He played baseball at UW-Superior and is now the facility manager of Wessman Arena.
“I’m proud to see our esports program thriving. Students continue to build communication, teamwork, and goal‑setting skills in a competitive and meaningful way.”

Coach Martinez

Coach Martinez “sxiny (shiny)” discovered his passion for competitive gaming during the Halo 2 era, climbing the ranks and facing top players. He has since competed across titles like League of Legends, Overwatch, and Halo Infinite.
“I’m passionate about bringing my coaching experience to UWS and support our players as they grow, compete, and work toward earning trophies through their dedication.”
