Information for Wisconsin Students
Wisconsin high school students have more options than ever to apply to UW-Superior. Two programs below may offer you admission without a traditional application — and if you don’t qualify, our application is free and open to everyone.
The Wisconsin Guarantee
Guaranteed admission for first-year applicants. You qualify if you meet any one of these:
- Top 10% of your Wisconsin high school class at the end of 11th grade
- Wisconsin resident homeschooled student with an ACT score in the national 90th percentile or higher
- Wisconsin resident who is a National Merit Scholarship finalist
A completed application is required.
Direct Admit Wisconsin
A Universities of Wisconsin initiative that proactively offers admission to qualifying students — no application needed.
- Offered between your junior and senior year of high school
- Your high school must be in a participating school district
- Admission uses data provided directly by your school
