Democracy & Dogs

All Yellowjacket students, faculty, and staff are invited to join Jackets Vote, a program of the Link Center, for this spring’s Democracy & Dogs event held in collaboration with the Jim Dan Hill Library on Tuesday, April 14 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Jim Dan Hill Library.
Democracy & Dogs is designed to help students, faculty, and staff unwind during the election season. Take a break from the noise of the news cycle and connect with certified therapy dogs in a calm, supportive environment. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by elections or simply in need of a moment to relax, this event offers a chance to decompress, recharge, and care for your well–being while staying civically engaged.
Jackets Vote, the Link Center and UW-Superior are nonpartisan and neither endorse nor oppose any political party, candidate, or viewpoint. This is a nonpartisan voter and civic education program. The views and opinions expressed by speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
