Childcare Center Administration

Program Overview

The Childcare Center Administration certificate is a two-course program designed for current or aspiring childcare center administrators. This program equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to lead and manage high-quality childcare settings.

Courses included:

• ECED 355 – Child Guidance
• ECED 486 – Administration of Child Development Programs

Upon completion, students will be able to:

• Apply developmentally appropriate practices within childcare settings.
• Demonstrate leadership in funding, budgeting, staffing, site maintenance, and standards-based programming.

Earning Criteria

To earn this certificate, enrollees must:

• Complete a TB test and Criminal Background Check.
• Successfully complete the following courses:
  • ECED 355 – Child Guidance
  • ECED 486 – Administration of Child Development Programs
