
Program Overview
The Childcare Center Administration certificate is a two-course program designed for current or aspiring childcare center administrators. This program equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to lead and manage high-quality childcare settings.
Courses included:
- ECED 355 – Child Guidance
- ECED 486 – Administration of Child Development Programs
Upon completion, students will be able to:
- Apply developmentally appropriate practices within childcare settings.
- Demonstrate leadership in funding, budgeting, staffing, site maintenance, and standards-based programming.

Earning Criteria
To earn this certificate, enrollees must:
- Complete a TB test and Criminal Background Check.
- Successfully complete the following courses:
- ECED 355 – Child Guidance
- ECED 486 – Administration of Child Development Programs
