About the Benefactor: The Carroll Family
Donald S. and Laura Carroll lived in Superior, WI. Donald worked as a motor vehicle operator for the UW-Superior grounds crew and Carroll was a dedicated homemaker. Both always desired to attend college, but decided they did not have the funds or time to do so. However, they instilled an appreciation for education in their children. Both Donald and Laura passed away in 1990.

Their children, Jerald R. Johnson, Gayle D. Cameron, and Georgia L. Lewis, decided that the best way to memorialize their parents was to established a scholarship at the university that Donald always wanted to give back to.
