The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will showcase its talented students in a special Jazz Meets Rock concert on Thursday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.

The 1980s-themed concert will feature performances by both the UW-Superior Jazz Band and pep band, Full Metal Jackets. Band members will be donning 80s-inspired apparel and audience members are encouraged to join in the fun.

The two bands will combine talents, which will feature vocals from Tanya Moore performing “25 Or 6 To 4” by Chicago, among many others.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior.
