The University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni and Friends Foundation will host “Pours by the Shore: Wine, Craft Beer, Music & More” on Thursday, April 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union. This special event is open to the community.

“Pours by the Shore” will include the opportunity to sample a variety of wine, craft beer and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from Keyport Liquor, as well as a variety of delicious food.

Attendees will enjoy the music of “Similar Dogs,” the unique duo of Joe Lindzius and Sarah Jane Hale.

Krisi (KP) Patterson, UW-Superior Campus Recreation program director, will serve as guest bartender, showing guests how to elevate their summer cocktails and mocktails.

There will be a chance to win some great prizes in the bucket raffle, including tickets to the Foundation’s semi-formal event, “A Superior Soirée,” on October 3, along with gift cards, baskets and more. A 50/50 raffle will also be held.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at bit.ly/Pours2025. A limited number will also be sold at the door. All proceeds will support scholarships and programming for UWS students and alumni.

“Pours by the Shore” is part of I Heart UWS Week, a series of events and a week-long celebration of all things UWS.

The Yellowjacket Union is located at 1605 Catlin Ave. in Superior.
