On April 2, six outstanding undergraduate student researchers from the University of Wisconsin-Superior will join their peers from across the Universities of Wisconsin, along with their faculty advisers, to share their research findings in the Wisconsin Capitol Rotunda in Madison as part of the 21st annual Research in the Rotunda.
The event provides students with the opportunity to showcase their research on a variety of important topics to legislators, state leaders, UW alumni and other supporters.
Among the research topics UW-Superior students will present are “Automated GIS Workflow for Agricultural Analysis,” “Exploring Machine Learning Applications in Gaming for Enhanced Character Locomotion and Behavior” and “Informal Caregiving Students’ Stress.”
Research in the Rotunda will also feature remarks from Jay Rothman, president of the Universities of Wisconsin.
“Over the 21 years of holding this event, we have featured well over 1,500 undergraduate research projects,” said Rothman. “They are a tangible representation of the Universities of Wisconsin’s ongoing commitment to building the talent pipeline and expanding knowledge and ideas that are vital to the state’s success.”
