TYPE

The University of Wisconsin-Superior will host a special discussion on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby on Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m. in the Jim Dan Hill Library. This event is free and open to the public.

The evening will feature insights from two esteemed faculty members: Deborah Schlacks, professor emeritus of English and an internationally recognized scholar on F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Joel Sipress, professor of history. Together, they will explore the novel’s lasting appeal and examine why The Great Gatsby remains a foundational work of American literature, continuing to resonate with readers 100 years after its publication.

This event offers a unique opportunity for the community to engage in a thoughtful conversation about the themes and cultural significance of one of the 20th century’s most celebrated literary works.

Jim Dan Hill Library is located at 907 N. 19th St. in Superior.
