Enhancement Day Keynote Session

We welcome three awesome UW-Superior students as our panelists on Resilience. They will share what this concept and practice means to them, how they have gained it in their lives, who supports them, and the role that UW-Superior has played in facing their challenges and goals. Moderated by Dr. Jayson Iwen of the Department of Writing, Languages, and Literacy, our panel features:
Greta Barrett: A transfer student from Cloquet, Greta is double-majoring in Business Administration in the Marketing and Management Concentrations. Greta has a 4.0 GPA and was honored in Spring 2026 with the VFW Scholarship at the Student Excellence Awards.
Hannah Copenhaver: A senior from Duluth, MN, Hannah is an English major and Writing minor. This past spring, Hannah presented her research at the UW System Women’s and Gender Studies Consortium (WGSC) Conference in Madison. She works at Jim Dan Hill Library.
Gift Uchegbe: A junior from Nigeria, Gift is an active student leader on campus and participates in SGA, World Student Association, and other clubs, including the Curling Club, which she revived at UW-Superior when she was a freshman. Gift is double-majoring in biology and economics, with plans to attend medical school. Please note the panel is in-person only, though other sessions below are offered in a hybrid modality.
