About

Aaron currently serves as the Associate Director of Undergraduate Research in the Link Center. In this role, they work to grow the profile of undergraduate research on campus. They are professionally driven by the belief that critical inquiry is a cornerstone of higher education, and that all students should have the tools and resources to participate in research during their undergraduate careers.

Previously, Aaron served the campus community through the McNair Scholars Program, first as Assistant Director and later as Interim Director until the program was cancelled in September 2025. As a first-generation, low-income college student themself, they found great fulfillment in helping students pursue graduate education and undergraduate research. Their background in student affairs also includes prior tenure as an Academic Advisor at the University of Minnesota Duluth in the Swenson College of Science and Engineering and as a Residence Hall Director at Southern New Hampshire University.

Aaron resides in Duluth, MN, with their partners, their dog, Ajax, and their cat, Anya.
