Buzz to the Polls 

Jackets Vote  a program of the Link Center, is inviting students to join us for Buzz to the Polls October 26-30 every day from 12:00pm-2:00pm in the Yellowjacket Union Atirum.  On October 26*, we will celebrate Vote Early Day. This is a nationwide, nonpartisan movement dedicated to helping voters learn about and take advantage of their early voting options. Vote Early Day encourages eligible voters to cast their ballots before Election Day and make a plan to ensure their voices are heard.

Whether you plan to vote in Wisconsin or your home state, Vote Early Day is an opportunity to learn when, where, and how you can vote early. Students can access resources to help them:

·       Understand their state’s early voting options

·       Find important election deadlines

·       Create a personalized voting plan

·       Learn about mail-in and in-person early voting

·       Avoid potential Election Day challenges such as long lines, scheduling conflicts, or unexpected obstacles

By voting early, you can ensure that last-minute issues do not prevent your ballot from being counted while helping make the voting process more accessible for everyone. Whether you’re a first-time voter or a seasoned participant in the democratic process, Jackets Vote is here to help you navigate your voting options with confidence.

*Nationally, Vote Early Day is on Saturday, October 24; however, we will be celebrating the following Monday when students are back on campus.
